Volunteer Coordinator for the North Star Historic Conservancy

The Volunteer Coordinator works with the Board and Event Chairs to determine volunteer job needs. Once the need is determined, the Volunteer Coordinator recruits through various outreach and media forms.  Interviews of prospective volunteer candidates would be conducted a few times a month at the North Star House office, after which the Volunteer Coordinator would provide new volunteers with an orientation of NSHC, their overall role and responsibility, and a tour of the property.  

Please have great listening skills and a love of people! Knowledge of social media and/ or public outreach forums would be needed. Experience with Microsoft Word and/ or Excel documents is helpful, but not a requirement. Interest in architecture and history a plus!
