RSVP, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Nevada County recruits volunteers 55 years of age and older and places them in volunteer opportunities that match their skills and interests. Meet the RSVP Advisory Council
RSVP of Nevada County is federally funded and is locally sponsored by Agency on Aging \ Area 4.

Everyone can benefit from doing volunteer work but especially seniors. From making new friends to making a difference in someone’s life, volunteering is a rewarding way to spend free time productively. Seniors have a lifetime of experience to share.

RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers as it matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to serve their communities. RSVP volunteers choose how and where they want to serve – from a few hours to more than 40 hours a week. RSVP provides service opportunities for those who want to make a difference in their communities while maintaining the flexibility to decide where and how frequently they serve.
